The Gulf Aid Benefit concert was a tremendous success! The Gulf Relief Foundation announced that last Sunday’s Gulf Aid Benefit Concert raised $300,088.65. Proceeds from the concert will raise funds to stop the oil from destroying our wetlands and provide financial aid to affected fishermen and their families as oil continues to affect the Gulf of Mexico from the site of the collapsed deepwater horizon. The Foundation’s first distribution will be to the fishing community most impacted by the shutdown of activity in St. Bernard and Plaquemines Parishes. See recent news
